ANU Poll Reveals Attitudes to Business, Science and Innovation
April 27th, 2017A poll of 1,202 people by the Australian National University (ANU) found that the majority of Australians strongly value science and innovation. May 1 Registration Deadline for R&D Tax Incentive
April 26th, 2017The registration deadline for the R&D tax incentive is less than a week away. This year, registrations are due on Monday, 1 May 2017, as 30 April falls on a Sunday. Companies who cannot lodge their application before this date can contact AusIndustry to request an extension. If received before the deadline, the business may be granted an extension of 14 days. Australia’s Cyber Security Sector Could Triple by 2026
April 24th, 2017The Australian Cyber Security Growth Network (ACSGN) estimates that Australia’s cyber security sector will triple in the next decade, reaching revenues of $6 billion by 2026. NASA Launches Three Australian Satellites
April 19th, 2017Until now, only two Australian satellites had been launched into space, one in 1967 and one in 2002. Yesterday, three more were sent aboard a NASA Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. As part of the QB50 international project, the nanosatellites will join a total of 50 CubeSats.
